Happy Easter

Friday afternoon we drove to a water park hotel for a one-night get away. I thought the kids would enjoy it and I was looking forward to the change of pace. We had dinner and hit the park for a little while Friday night. Then did it again Saturday morning. Claire cried when we left and said we should go there more often. I'll consider that a ringing endorsement.

We were back home on Saturday in time to grocery shop and get ready for Easter festivities. The kids had fun finding their baskets and eggs in the house Sunday morning.

The bunny even left a few eggs outside!

Nana Kathleen and Papa Dave hosted Easter dinner, complete with an egg hunt for the kids. Both of them had the hang of it this time, and the weather was amazing! Hope you all had a fabulous day.

The Zoo

We went out to lunch this weekend amongst running errands. Here are some goofy shots from that. Kyle is at the lovely age where sitting though a meal (that is not eggs) is extremely difficult. Seriously, this kids will eat six scrambled eggs.

Sunday we spent some time at the zoo with Nana Barb & Papa Joe. It was great weather to be outside (finally). We even saw the new baby gorilla, although I didn't take a photo.
